State Results

Here's a 'shout out' to our Girls Optional Team:

Congrats to Caitie McCain, Lv 7, competing in her final meet for the season scored 9.450 for 3rd PL on Vault, a 9.350 for a 4th PL on Floor, to finish with a 35.350 All Around and a commendable 6th Place in State. Also completing their season of Lv 7 in the JR Division were Madison R., Julia R. and Mieko C. At Lv 9 Kenzie W. competed as an event specialist on Beam & Floor, while Riley C. placed 2nd on vault with a 9.0 and 4th on beam (9.2) helping her to a 34.0 AA and a commendable 8th PL finish. Bravo, Ladies!

The Lv 8 Optionals combined scores to bring home a 6th Place State Trophy out of 20 teams statewide. Contributing gymnasts were Mikala R.: 9.25 Floor & 34.050 AA; Naomi M.: 9.025 Beam & 34.9 AA; Madi V. with a 3rd PL on Vault (8.7) and 2 6th PL finishes on Beam (8.975) & Floor (9.175) leading to a well deserved 5th PL All Around (35.0); and Sarah K. leading the pack to a Gold Medal on Beam (9.325) & a Silver each on Bars (9.0) & Floor (9.30) for an All Around score of 36.150 and a 2nd Place State Title. WOW!
